The Office Assistant is the first point of contact for our prospects, clients and vendors and must have excellent interpersonal skills. This position is responsible for greeting customers, answering phones, and providing general administrative support to our staff. This is a full-time, entry level position with promotional opportunities within each company department (Sales, Marketing, and Operations).

Job Duties:

• Answer phones, transfer calls and enter new prospects into CRM database
• Maintain office supply inventory and make orders as needed
• Provide administrative support to American Tennis Courts’ President, Sales, Production, HR and Marketing teams
• Onboard new clients and assist with billing within QuickBooks
• Oversee employee timesheets and ensure time is tracked accurately
• Distribute petty cash/per diem and track incoming and outgoing cash
• Maintain office calendar with deadlines, license renewals and events

Requirements:

• Staff our front desk M-F from 7am to 4pm
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to type and navigate computer quickly, including using shortcuts
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Positive attitude
• Passion for sports and athletics, preferred

American Sports Surfaces has been designing and constructing high-quality recreational courts for over 50 years. We are seeking a Laborer to join our Production Team. Our ideal candidate will be a team player with remarkable communication skills and naturally motivated to accomplish their best work every day.

Qualifications

• Eagerness and willingness to learn and receive instruction and direction
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Flexibility to work various days and hours throughout the week and weekends depending on job deadlines and season
• Ability to lift 80 pounds throughout the day
• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to drive company trucks to and from production locations and assigned areas
• Working knowledge of workplace safety
• Capability to work outdoors in high heat
• Drug and substance-free at all times

Responsibilities

• Standard hours: 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overnight travel and weekend work
• Ability to read and execute plan instructions
• Loading and unloading products
• Lifting and moving materials
• Operating small tools
• Digging and refilling holes
• Applying surface and coating products
• Minimal machine operation and maintenance

Education

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
